OK, we just made a command decision down at Deadly Combo H.Q.: no more week-to-week continuity. It's just not a very satisfying reading or writing experience, to blorp out a tiny chunk of a long story every week. So forget it! I'm still working on longer comics, and I plan to finish this Bakery Force thing I started, but not in the weekly strip. That is the verdict. Your weeping makes no difference.
I'll see you next Thursday, with another self-contained nugget of comics pleasure.
